**Job Summary:**

Hansen and Sons, a family-run company in Northern Utah, is seeking a dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining landscapes and gardens by ensuring proper irrigation systems are in place.

**Duties:**

- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes and gardens.

- Collaborate with landscaping teams to design and implement irrigation plans that meet the specific needs of each project.

- Operate power tools and hand tools to dig trenches, lay pipes, and install irrigation components.

- Conduct regular inspections to identify leaks, malfunctions, or inefficiencies in the irrigation systems.

- Adjust irrigation schedules based on seasonal weather conditions to optimize water usage and plant health.

- Assist in general landscape maintenance tasks as needed.

**Requirements:**

- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation systems preferred.

- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment.

- Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and operate machinery effectively.

- Proficiency in irrigating techniques and principles for proper plant care.

- Knowledge of lawn care practices and water conservation methods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Payment frequency:

• Paid biweekly

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
