Job Title: Internal Audit Lead

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Range: $65/hr to $67/hr

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance and Controls Testing Specialist to join our fast-paced team. Our primary focus is to prepare the business for audits by ensuring the adequacy and sustainability of controls and processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in audit, controls, or risk management and be capable of adapting quickly to our methods and procedures.

Preferred Skills Required:

• Conduct thorough design assessments and testing of various controls, ensuring they are sustainable and effective. This includes automated controls, system activities, data accuracy, completeness, and various reporting or oversight functions.
• Perform walk-throughs and detailed reviews of control designs, challenging the business to identify and address any gaps.
• Evaluate implementation milestones creatively to determine if activities are both implemented and sustainable.
• Anticipate audit requirements and assist the business in closing any gaps, ensuring they are well-prepared to pass audits.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including narratives and walk-throughs, to support design assessments and testing activities.
• Work closely with the team on project-based assignments, leveraging data and information from various systems used by the business.
