Perform outstanding maintenance services for The Blake Hotel and other buildings and facilities of Taos Ski Valley Resort.
Serviced areas include guest' rooms, lobbies, hallways, elevators, bathrooms, fitness rooms, garages, stairwells, steam rooms, games rooms, hot tubs & pool, surrounding areas, ski locker rooms, building entrances / exits, etc.
Tasks may include mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and painting work within rooms and common areas. It is the Technician’s responsibility to carry out all entry-level duties in a manner to contributes to the team’s overall effectiveness.
Technicians must be flexible with their working schedules and be able to communicate effectively in person, digitally, or via radio in the English language.

While performing the duties of this job in this fast-paced environment, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and sometimes in outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. TSVI is located in a high altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold and / or humid conditions.
Must have reliable year-round personal transportation. Must have a smartphone and maintain a phone plan with coverage in the Taos Ski Valley.
Occasional operation of TSV owned vehicles may be required, must be at least 25 years of age for MVR and Insurance requirement.
Physical Demands of Position Include :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;
reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
The employee may be required to work from heights, including building roofs.
The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 50-75 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Background Check
Positions dealing with children, of safety sensitive and / or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check.
Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check and MVR check.
