Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for performing legal research, providing legal advice, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in legal proceedings. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts to clients and colleagues. Significant litigation , depositions and client contact are part of the daily dutes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Law and Labor and Employment Law and familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience in providing legal advice and conducting legal research
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- MUST be admittd in NYS
- at least 1 year of litigation experience required
