The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the dealership's operations, ensuring profitability, high customer satisfaction, and effective management of all departments. This role requires a strategic leader who can balance day-to-day operations with long-term planning.

The ideal candidate will hae 5-10 years of experience, preferably GM experience. GMs must be prepared and willing to work 50-60 hour work weeks.

Automotive General Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve dealership goals.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all departments.
• Manage senior staff, setting objectives and reviewing performance.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and handle high-level customer complaints.
• Collaborate with the sales team to maximize sales and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with automotive laws and regulations.
• Monitor financial performance, preparing budgets and financial statements.
• Foster a positive, productive work environment.

Automotive General Manager Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in automotive dealership management.
• Proven track record of successful dealership management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends.
• Preferably with General Motors (GM) experience.
