JFH Property Management is Hiring a Property Manager Near Three Oaks, MI

We are looking for a full-time property manager position. We offer a salaried position working partly from home and partly in the office. Must be able to drive between Niles MI, Three Oaks MI and Chesterton IN. We do not currently provide company vehicles but will reimburse for fuel and some ongoing maintenance costs for your vehicle.

We are looking for someone to grow with the company as we look to acquire additional properties and pursue future development projects. Responsibilities include leasing, tenant communications, managing contractors, payables and receivables, and managing maintenance team.

Our company currently has 155 apartment units in SW Michigan and NWI. We have an additional 80 units in Kendallville IN with a property manager and maintenance tech managing that asset. We also own a campground in northern Michigan but have a separate team that manages that asset.

This role will require you to manage our 155 unit portfolio. You will have 2 maintenance technicians on your team who you will be responsible for working with and managing. We have a remote bookkeeper who will work with you to manage our accounting system.

For software we utilize Appfolio for bookeeping and property management. We also use Microsoft office products and Google products for documents, spreadsheets, and email.

This role is a combination work from home and you can work from our Three Oaks office. Our other properties do not have an office. Hours can vary and are flexible depending on how you prefer to structure showings and managing other day to day activities. You will need to work with our maintenance team to manage schedules for monitoring on call emergency work orders.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
