Job DescriptionPosition Summary: ISI is looking for an experienced Construction Administrator/Manager with a background in the construction industry to provide Owner's Representative construction management services to a Federal client in the healthcare industry. The Construction Administrator (CA) will work to support a Federal client on ongoing construction projects of various sizes and complexity. Provides a wide range of construction administration support services to assist the client. The position will support more senior government project managers and fellow contractor project managers, who will work as part of a larger construction program. The ability to lead and work as a team AND work independently are critical. ISI is seeking an individual who will be a clear communicator, takes initiative and embraces project ownership.
What You’ll Be Doing:Serve as onsite Team Leader to oversee task assignment, task performance, manage client relationships, and resolve conflict and prioritization.
Using your knowledge of construction practices to assist in implementing various plans set forth on the project including Project Management, Quality Assurance, Safety, Time, Cost, Change, and Information Management.
Maintain, sort, file, and track construction / project related documentation and project folders. [Submittals, Change Requests, Contract Modifications, RFI’s]
Organize and attend design / construction progress meetings, drafting & distributing meeting minutes to all project stakeholders.
Draft & distribute project updates and facilitate other team communication.
Assist a team of construction professionals in monitoring the construction activities for alignment with the Quality Assurance Plan and/or Project Requirements.
Assist the project team in determining the value of the acceptable work in place in reference to the baseline schedule.
Use your software skills, knowledge of the construction industry, and computer literacy to produce work products and compile data and records.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Required: May possess a degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and/or evidence of work experience or knowledge to compensate for absence of higher education. A minimum of five (5) years of construction administration experience is required.
Shall be familiar with the site operations of General and Sub-contractors and the processes of managing a building construction operation.
Ability to recognize terminology associated with administration of construction activity to support CM staff with required documentation and submission of project related data.
Must maintain a working knowledge of major construction activity and the typical documentation and reporting requirements.
Shall have experience in preparing, analyzing, and identifying incongruities and deficiencies in the contractors work in relationship with the construction documents.
Communication, Language, and Software Skills. [Experience using Kahua, Tririga, Procore, Microsoft PowerApps a plus].
Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred:
  • Medical facilities experience.

Work Setting/Environment/Travel Requirements:
  • Monday through Friday, Normal business hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Hybrid work schedule with Ad Hoc telework.
