Security Benefit is searching for an experienced Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate may work remotely but will be required to travel to our home office in Topeka, Kansas or our Overland Park, Kansas office periodically. For more than five decades, we’ve focused our expertise solely on this market, providing a broad suite of annuities and mutual fund programs to help customers from coast to coast align their assets with their aspirations. What Does the Job Look Like?Security Benefit is looking for an experienced Product Designer to work within the establishment product design standards and best practices. This includes ensuring that the digital products being developed are intuitive and customer centric. The role's expectation is to be both a thought leader and contribute to specific product development efforts. As a designer, you’ll be asked to handle responsibilities, including: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, technology and business teams, to uncover customer and business needs. Lead the translation of insights into simple and intuitive design solutions that evolve and enhance Security Benefit product offerings and customer experiences. Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to execution, ensuring a user-centric approach throughout. Including the creation and education of journey maps and interaction models. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine design solutions. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with business objectives and user needs. Iterate on designs based on feedback and data-driven insights to continually improve the user experience. Stay updated on industry trends and design best practices to bring innovative ideas to the table. Working in coordination with our Brand team to establish design standards and patterns for Security Benefit.
