Bilingual HR Generalist

Location: Toppenish, WA

Salary: $60,000 - $90,000/year

You'll be the backbone of the HR team, tackling daily tasks, expertly managing HR functions, and partnering with senior leadership to keep our company culture thriving.

Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Employee Relations & Development:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support and coaching across all levels (management & non-management), fostering a collaborative and cohesive team environment through conflict resolution techniques.
  • Facilitate performance reviews, equipping managers and employees with the necessary guidance, tools, and training for success.
  • Escalate and manage personnel-related issues to ensure timely and appropriate resolution.

HR Compliance & Administration:

  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal HR regulations and employment laws, including EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and WPFML. Update policies and procedures as needed to maintain legal compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel information and files.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

  • Provide support to the recruitment process and prepare paperwork and schedules for a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.

Benefits & Payroll Administration:

  • Manage worker's compensation claims and facilitate employee benefits.
  • Oversee bi-monthly payroll processing through a third-party service.

Safety & Risk Management:

  • Actively participate in the Company Safety Committee to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

Competencies:

  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Training and Development skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft and Excel.

Education/Experience:

  • Bilingual – Fluent in English & Spanish is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required, OR 5-8 years progressive HR experience.
  • SHRM-CP certification is required
