The Manufacturing Engineer, under minimal supervision, determines the best manufacturing methods and processes for our products, including equipment, tooling, materials and facilities. Develop plant layout, design and workflow processes. Introduce automation into the assembly process. Develop and implement work instructions to standardize work procedures. Recommend procedures that will result in cost savings, quality improvement and maximization of production, using kaizen and value stream principles.
