R&D Specialist for New Cibo Vita LLC (Totowa, NJ). Analyze snack market trends, developing varieties of snack products with cost and nutritional guidelines. Bachelor’s degree in food science or a related field and one (1) year of Food R&D-related experience. Experience in project management involving cross-functional team coordination. Proficiency with HACCP and shelf-life prediction. Proficiency with ESHA Genesis R&D Nutrition Labeling Software and Salesforce Specification Platform. Experience establishing a new food production process from conception to mass production, including machine sourcing. Knowledge of allergens/gluten free, GMO, organic and food regulations. Experience in standardizing developed formulas for manufacturing facilities. Experience optimizing cost and efficiency of existing formulas and processes.
