Automation Technician - 2795Job SummaryAssembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures on automated manufacturing equipment. Job DutiesUse hand tools and test instruments to diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components and isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical components.Troubleshoot and repair all electrical systems (12vdc,24vdc, 120vac,240vac, 480vac)Ability to troubleshoot, repair and program robotics Ability to troubleshoot all automated equipment. ( PLC,HMI, Robotics, Vision, Safety Devices,etc) Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts as needed. Including but not limited to gears, brushes, and armatures.Mount motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to electrical diagram specifications.Be able to fabricate and/or install parts as needed to complete electrical, automation repair, or troubleshooting task.
