This role involves managing various accounting functions within a small construction company, providing financial reporting, job cost and reconciliation, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. This part-time role is based on-site for three days a week and offers a competitive hourly rate.Responsibilities:• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable• Conduct job cost analysis and reconciliation for construction projects• Generate financial reports for management review• Collaborate with an external CPA firm, no CPA or MBA required for this role• Review payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance• Manage a full-time bookkeeper and ensure smooth daily operations• Provide construction accounting expertise, handling billing at different project stages• Monitor employee turnover and manage related accounting adjustments• Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for various accounting tasks and processes• Handle customer credit inquiries, process credit applications, and maintain customer credit records• Monitor customer credit accounts and take action to collect delinquent payments.
