Transfire gives shippers peace of mind with regard to the movement and fulfillment of their products by communicating well, following through on commitments, and constantly improving our service quality. We service Washington, Oregon, and parts of Idaho with our local delivery service, and have 3PL operations in many US States. We are a tight-knit team that strives for excellence, and we need another expert sales professional on our team to help accelerate our growth.

About the role

We’re searching for a sales professional with 4 years of experience. An individual who has experience and a good reputation in the logistics industry. Our ideal candidate would have an existing book of business with a variety of clients. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales, has a strong drive for success, and eagerness to find and build new customer relationships. Success at Transfire will require excellent sales ability, a natural drive to gain clients, and well established personal work disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Outside sales
  • Cold calling
  • Maintaining a frequent office presence at our Tukwila, WA location
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients
  • Develop a database of qualified leads
  • Maintain records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, emails sent, and follow-up activities

Qualifications

  • 4 years of transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding sales experience with a proven background of consistency in prospecting and closing sales
