The Digital Stronghold is a multi-brand platform supporting leading digitally native men’s apparel, accessories and grooming brands in accelerating their growth.

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the company by overseeing all receivables, resolving any issues with accounts, and ensuring that payments are collected in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data.
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues and deposits.
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Shopify and Netsuite a plus
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
