Expanite Inc. is a fast-growing leader in surface hardening and heat treatment of stainless steel, titanium, and other specialty alloys. Renowned for innovative solutions and top-tier service, we are broadening our reach in North America and need a dynamic Sales Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit, ready to leave their mark as a driver in the organization's continued growth.

As Sales Manager, you will work closely with the sales team to implement the sales strategy in the US by generating new business and growing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience from surface hardening, heat treatments, or other surface treatment technologies and will have a strong commercial mindset. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be self-driven and have an all-hands-on-deck mentality.

Key Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Country Manager and aligned with our company strategy, you will:

  • Drive sales growth across North America
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation and securing deals to providing ongoing customer support and service
  • Identify new sales opportunities through research, field calls, tradeshows, and webinars, and respond effectively to inbound leads
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes, manage purchase orders, and resolve customer issues
  • Ensure accurate data management within our CRM (Zoho)
  • Support daily management tasks, including reporting
  • Analyze competitor information to understand market trends
  • Collaborate with international teams in Denmark and Germany to exchange valuable commercial and technical insights

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a technical field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience
  • At least two years of B2B sales success, preferably in technical product sectors or as a supplier/subcontractor
  • A keen interest in, or experience with, heat treatment and materials science
  • A strong commercial orientation with analytical skills to handle major tasks effectively and prioritize when necessary
  • A proactive approach, excellent customer service skills, and a professional demeanor
  • Cost-consciousness with an eye on profitability
  • Autonomy in your work and a readiness to travel domestically and internationally for about 30-40 days a year
  • A valid driver’s license

Location: Northeast Ohio. Hybrid role.
