The Opportunity

This role is critical to the company’s continued growth and drive toward being the best operational company in the cannabis industry. Reporting to the production supervisor, the production associate will complete daily tasks in the production and packaging department. The production department consists of handheld, semi automatic and automatic equipment that assist in the creation, labeling and packaging of finished products. The primary focus of this position will be to follow SOPs and the daily production schedule to assist in creating these products. Candidates must have a strong ownership mindset and a desire to contribute to the continued success of a rapidly growing business. This is ideal for goal-oriented individuals who are comfortable with the cannabis industry and who appreciate the growth potential that it presents

What you’ll do

• Separate out and weigh various forms of cannabis to be packaged
• Assemble finished goods packaging, fill with proper product, seal and label
• Grind plant material to a specific size dependent on application using machinery
• Assist in the operation of automated equipment for creation of pre-rolled joints and 1/8th packaging
• Accurately and diligently follow the Company’s SOP’s and communicate suggestions to Supervisor when SOP’s should be updated. 
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure you are wearing appropriate PPE. 
• Assist with keeping the Production department in compliance with the regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1 years’ experience in a Manufacturing or Operations related role.
• High school diploma required
• Math skills necessary, and use of Excel
• Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense and resourcefulness
• Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Possesses a high level of critical thinking
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Must be able to sit, stand and do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. to torso level
• Must pass any and all required background checks
• Must possess valid driver's license
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
