Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound procedures and obtain high-quality images
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety
- Adjust equipment and settings to obtain optimal images
- Collaborate with physicians to review and interpret images
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Follow safety and infection control protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
