Superior’s Maintenance Technicians perform repair and maintenance duties for the entire facility, from plant equipment and machinery to building repair and maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to overall operations.

Essential Functions:

· Perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned

· Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery

· Fabricates repair/replacement parts as needed

· Complete work orders on a timely basis

· Document work as instructed

· Communicate work processes with affected area as needed

· Assist with maintaining equipment and parts inventory

· Keep work area clean

· Follow all safety policies and procedures

· Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to read pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical & electrical drawings

· Ability to operate power equipment such as grinders. sanders, drill press, hoist & forklifts

· Must be able to navigate computerized maintenance management software

 Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods standing and walking

· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces

· Must be able to frequently lift up to 75 pounds

Education and Experience:

· Industrial Maintenance Technician Certification preferred
