**THIS ROLE REQUIRES PREVIOUS EQUINE EXPERIENCE. A large portion of this position is sizing for halters and handling horses. While this is a trainable trade, previous horse experience is a must!**

Job Summary:

Are you passionate about animal care and thrive on building meaningful relationships? FarmVet is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As an essential member of our sales force, you'll play a pivotal role in catering to the unique needs of our clientele in the equine industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Halter Sizing Expertise: You'll be responsible for visiting various racing farms to assist with sizing halters for horses. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of equine anatomy will ensure that each halter fits perfectly, promoting both comfort and safety for the horses.
  • Exemplary Salesmanship: This role demands someone who is naturally outgoing and thrives in social settings. As an ambassador for FarmVet, you'll actively engage with clients, showcasing our products and services with enthusiasm and expertise. Your ability to connect with people on a personal level will be instrumental in fostering long-term relationships and driving sales.
  • Self-Motivated Initiative: Success in this role requires a proactive approach. You'll need to be self-motivated, with the drive to seek out new business opportunities and exceed sales targets. Whether it's attending industry events, networking with professionals, or utilizing online platforms, you'll constantly be on the lookout for ways to expand our customer base.
  • Local Customer Deliveries: Timeliness and reliability are paramount in our commitment to customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for managing local deliveries, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately. Your dedication to providing exceptional service will strengthen our reputation as a trusted supplier within the community.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and nurturing relationships is at the heart of what we do. You'll be entrusted with maintaining existing client connections, understanding their evolving needs, and providing tailored solutions. Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably within the equine industry, is highly desirable.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
