Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Line Cook at Spark Community Café. The Lead Line Cook will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. They will collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow, maintain food quality and safety standards, and create an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and knife skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing demands in the kitchen
- Creativity and ability to develop and innovate menu items
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Prior experience as a lead line cook or in a similar role is preferred
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
