The Binghamton JCC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fitness Attendant to join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art fitness center.

This role is perfect for individuals passionate about health, fitness, and community well-being. As a Fitness Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, clean, and friendly environment for all our members.

Minimum Qualifications :

Responsibilities :

Supervise the fitness center to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Provide orientations to new members on equipment use and fitness center policies.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness area, including sanitizing equipment and ensuring all items are returned to their proper place.

Assist with member inquiries at the fitness desk.

Conduct basic maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to management.

Support the delivery of fitness programs and special events.

Enforce all fitness center policies and procedures to ensure member safety.

What We're Looking For :

Enthusiasm for fitness and wellness, with a genuine desire to help others.

Strong communication skills to connect effectively with diverse community members.

Physical capability to manage the demands of a fitness facility.

CPR and First Aid certifications, or readiness to obtain them promptly.

A basic knowledge of fitness, and fitness machine use, personal training certification a plus
