Assistant Maintenance Technician --

Carries out and assists all club house repairs and general maintenance needed for equipment, furniture, masonry and building structure

Job Tasks (Duties)

• Assists with the servicing and repairing of systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, fire, drainage and pumping

• Performs daily banquet set-up as instructed by banquet manager or head of maintenance

• Maintain parking lots, tennis courts, swimming pools and other recreational areas

• Keeps the workshop areas safe, clean and well-lighted

• Ensures that all refuse is properly removed from the club house premises

• Clean assigned building areas.

• Regularly check premises and perform necessary maintenance tasks.

• Perform heavy duty cleaning tasks and projects.

• Inspect the premises and report any issues or repairs to the management.

• Perform any small repairs possible.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical system, appliances, elevators, ventilation system and building structure of the club

• Conducts plumbing repairs such as leaking pipes and faucets and clogged drains

• Performs various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical work

• Maintains the air conditioning, refrigerators, ice makers and pool pumps

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Voorheesville, NY 12186: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
