WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

This individual should be a tenacious sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding ambitious targets and expectations. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the charisma and expertise to build lasting relationships with high-level decision-makers. This role requires extensive travel throughout the assigned territory and is perfect for a highly motivated individual driven to succeed.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

· Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for several large clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.

· Sales Proposals: Collaborate with the sales team to create and deliver compelling sales proposals tailored to client needs.

· Sales Process Management: Execute and optimize the sales process, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sale follow-up, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

· Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals, market trends, and client needs.

· Pricing Strategy: Utilize market research and client feedback to develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies that drive sales and meet revenue targets.

· Coordination: Coordinate with local resources and city management to ensure seamless execution of projects.

· CRM Proficiency: Utilize CRM software (Zoho) effectively to manage client interactions, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records.

· Technology Integration: Leverage AI tools and other technology solutions to enhance sales processes and client engagement.

· Travel: Travel as needed to meet clients, oversee projects, and attend industry events.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT

· Experience: Significant experience in selling and managing utility construction accounts, OSB fiber optic network sales, and underground drilling projects.

· Sales Process Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the sales process, with a track record of successfully managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

· Sales Strategy Skills: Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that drive growth and achieve targets.

· Pricing Strategy Acumen: Strong understanding of pricing strategies, with the ability to develop competitive pricing models that maximize profitability.

· Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

· Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.

· Pressure Handling: Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Zoho) and a willingness to adopt AI-friendly tools and methodologies.

· Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the utility construction industry and related sales processes.

· Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.

· Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support colleagues.

· Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all aspects of work.

· Customer-Focused: A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional service.

· At least 4 years’ prior experience in a similar role maintaining customer relationships is required. Prior experience in the industry is highly preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management, or related field is preferred.

WHAT TO EXPECT

· Office environment will be standard practice, including but not limited to airports, lounges, trailer offices, construction offices, etc.

· May be required to stand, sit, bend, twist, and reach as part of the job.

· Extended periods of standing on your feet may be required.

· May be required to lift up to 80 pounds.

· Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, or other job-related pre-hire screenings related to the job.

· Travel may be required up to 25% of the time in this role.
