Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at a cannabis dispensary. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall management and operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional customer service. The Assistant Manager requires leadership skills, a deep understanding of the cannabis industry, and the ability to maintain a positive and compliant work environment. Key Responsibilities:

Team Management

• Supervise and support dispensary staff in day-to-day operations.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing team members.
• Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.

Customer Service

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Inventory Management

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Oversee inventory levels, restocking, and product rotation.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Compliance

• Stay up-to-date on cannabis regulations and ensure the dispensary's compliance.
• Work with the management team to implement and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Sales and Promotions

• Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies.
• Coordinate promotions and special events to drive sales.
• Analyze sales data and make recommendations for improvement.

Security and Safety

• Implement security measures to protect staff, customers, and assets.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cannabis dispensary or a related industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and effects.
• Familiarity with state and local cannabis regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with point-of-sale systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to occasionally lift items up to 40 lbs
• Must be able to stand for extended period of time
