We are a family owned, small business retail store in Wall, NJ. We are in need of an energetic, outgoing person to help complement our retail sales floor. Working in a small business environment is unique in that the candidate must be able to engage with the customers on a local, personal level. We sell sneakers, sporting goods, and custom apparel, but we place a tremendous emphasis on the service we provide. The candidate needs to possess outstanding communication skills to be able to interact with customers positively and effectively.

We would expect the candidate to be able to assist in the operation of the sales floor, engage with customers, meet sales goals and increase profitability. Monitoring inventory levels, receiving products, creating visual merchandising spots would all be additional tasks. Opening and closing of the store would also be necessary.

Candidates with experience in sales especially retail will be strongly considered.

Our hours of operation are 10-6 M-Sa, 10-5 Su. The candidate would be required to work weekends. No nights as we close at 6pm. The position hours would range to 30-40 per week.

Responsibilities

• Create social media posts, email blasts, other marketing duties

• Open and close store when necessary
