We're looking for a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have a background in urgent care, primary care, medical facility background and will be proficient in handling day-to-day Medical Assistant responsibilities such as granting access to the building and directing incoming patient traffic, but will also be capable of working with a team of staff members to assist with administrative tasks or answer questions about the practice. The right person for this position will have strong clinical judgement and an interest in helping patients as well as strong communication skills and reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Routinely answer incoming calls, greetings, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
• Provide customers with information regarding wait times and insurance verification.
• Radiology/ X-Ray Imaging
• Venipuncture/Blood Draw
• Schedule patients for routine appointments.
• Medication Administration
• Lab Preparation/Specimen Collection
• Patient Care
• IV preparation/setup
• Obtain payments from patients for office visits.
• Answer routine questions regarding billing and lab results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
