Position SummaryPerform receptionist and other general office duties for the company. Perform data entry, QC, and other work related to PPI’s benefits administration client services. Provide a variety of support functions for company management and operational departments. This is a full-time opportunity working in our Wallingford, CT office M-F from 8am-5pm ET. Essential Function
  • Perform duties of receptionist, including but not limited to receiving, forwarding, and responding to incoming phone calls and messages for the client services team and other PPI staff, greeting and directing office visitors, and handling mail and express deliveries
  • Perform tasks to support various departments including data entry of enrollment and election information into various systems; QC of client, plan, and enrollment data; distribute and respond to client services email inbox; preparing bill and client letter mailings, and other tasks
  • Maintain and post HR and other company documents such as an organizational chart
  • Make arrangements for meetings and other company events including food order and delivery, setup, etc. at office or at event locations
  • Perform tasks such as watering plants, running dishwasher in employee kitchen, etc
  • Provide periodic support to managers and executives by performing administrative tasks including but not limited to answering calls and responding to messages, coordinating meetings, managing email and calendars, making travel arrangements, preparing correspondence, filing, and processing expense reports
  • May assist with filing business-related documents
  • Create and update forms and other documents
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required
Requirements
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers and operate in accordance with State and Federal law, the company’s Statement of Business Practices, Affirmative Action, Diversity, and other standards. Actively cooperate and interact with all entities of NFP
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience. Must be able to manage a high volume of diverse assignments
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
  • Must be detail oriented and possess time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, use good judgment, and possess a high degree of tact and diplomacy
