We are seeking an experienced and strategic Interim Treasury Manager to join our client's finance team on a temporary basis. The Interim Treasury Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's treasury operations, ensuring optimal liquidity management, managing financial risks, and developing effective strategies to meet the organization's financial goals. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in treasury management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Cash Management:Oversee daily cash flow operations to ensure sufficient liquidity for business needs.Manage cash forecasting and short-term liquidity planning.Optimize the use of available cash to maximize returns while minimizing risk.Banking Relations:Maintain and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.Negotiate banking terms and conditions to achieve favorable rates and conditions for the company.Ensure compliance with banking covenants and manage bank account structures.Investment Management:Develop and implement investment strategies to manage excess cash effectively.Monitor investment portfolios and ensure compliance with the company’s investment policies.Analyze and report on investment performance and market trends.Debt Management:Manage the company’s debt portfolio, including loan administration and compliance.Develop strategies for refinancing and debt issuance as required.Monitor debt covenants and ensure compliance with all financial agreements.Risk Management:Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate and currency risks.Develop and implement hedging strategies to protect the company against adverse market movements.Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.Treasury Operations:Oversee treasury systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.Implement best practices in treasury management and ensure continuous improvement.Prepare regular treasury reports for senior management and the board.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor the treasury team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.Provide guidance and support to team members in achieving their goals.
