Summary

Global Atlantic’s Distribution Strategy and Operations team is looking for a Business Manager to manage the daily operations of the department. The Business Manager works closely with the distribution strategy team, sales leadership, and other departments to ensure success of new sales strategies and programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and execute projects from start to finish ensuring completion within the agreed upon timeframe.

• Negotiate project objectives and direction with the support of the project sponsors and business leads. 

• Manage project risks and issues to resolution. 

• Develop and implement sales strategies and plans that support the Distribution’s organization sales goals and objectives. 

• Analyzes sales data, identifies market trends, and develops action plans to improve sales performance and profitability.

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers, partners, and stakeholders.

• Analyze sales data, market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Prepare and present reports, forecasts, budgets, and proposals to senior management and other relevant parties.

• Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, product, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in sales or project management, preferably in the financial services industry. 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, JIRA experience preferred.

• Willingness to travel as required.
