City of Weatherford is Hiring an Information Technology Specialist Near Weatherford, TX

The City of Weatherford’s Information Technology (IT) Department is looking to hire an Information Technology Specialist. This position will assist in the design, specification, and implementation of project management for the IT department infrastructure. If you think you’d be a good fit, we would like to hear from you.
Roles & Responsibilities Include
  • Providing day to day technical assistance for applications and hardware problems.
  • Assisting in the deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms.
  • Assisting the Service Desk Coordinator in the procurement of purchased computer equipment for yearly deployments.
  • Performing hands on fixes at the desktop level, including but not limited to configuring system applications.
  • Participate in rotating on-call after hours support for Police/Fire.
Qualifications
  • Two years experience with IT systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Business Management preferred.
  • A and Microsoft certificates preferred.
  • Must have a valid Class C Texas Driver's license.
