Dormie Club Golf Club is Hiring a Hospitality Manager Near West, NC

Rustic, secluded, and peaceful, Dormie Club’s 310 acres melt into the rolling hills. The only original Coore & Crenshaw design in North Carolina features a 241-yard reverse Redan par three and plays very fast. Definitely a bucket list course.
JOB SUMMARY
The Hospitality Manager works directly with their club’s Network Concierge and is responsible for aiding in the execution of network membership experiences for all members. This role will help drive all membership activities for Golf, Food and Beverage and Facilities across home and national clubs. This position works to help make initial visits well received by members, guests, and potential members, and vastly helps in the reoccurrence of room-night sales. All Network cottage nights, events, stay and plays, as well as signature membership events are coordinated cross departmentally in order to deliver on the expected Dormie Network experience, majorly centered around the provision of premier hospitality upon arrival through departure.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • The Hospitality Manager is responsible for executing the member experience at their home club, while identifying opportunities to encourage and initiate travel to other Network properties.
  • Responsible for developing and nourishing lasting relationships with current and potential members, while representing Dormie Club and the entirety of the Dormie Network in a professional and hospitable manner.
  • At Network Concierge’s discretion one will act as a point of contact in the arrangement process of all travel and lodging accommodations as well as all Discovery Visits.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of unique and individualized experiences paired with first-class hospitality for all Network, club, and member/guest related events.
  • Ensuring all lodging facilities are properly maintained in cleanliness and aesthetic appeal, and appropriately staged for arrivals.
  • Responsible for assisting in cordial check-in/check-out processes.
  • Assist in managing the activities surrounding discovery visits, converts guests to membership.
  • Works closely with the Golf, Club Services, Facilities, and F&B staff in order to ensure outstanding execution.
  • Responsible for in depth knowledge of each property in the Network.
  • Assists in planning all transportation activities that surround the cottage stay/member event.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma and or GED required, bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Sales/hospitality experience; 2-3 years preferred.
PHYISCAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of sedentary/stationary work.
  • Occasionally move about the office to access printers, file cabinets, and meet with others.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally with members and employees via phone.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator or printer.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
