Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and organized Assistant to the Production Manager to assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining high standards of productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing production schedules and activities.
• Monitor production processes to ensure they run efficiently and meet quality standards.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining safety protocols and procedures.
• Collect and analyze production data, preparing reports and presenting findings to the Production Manager.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, inventory levels, and production output.
• Support the Production Manager in employee training, performance evaluations, and team development.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of production processes and safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
