As an Equipment Operator, you will be operating a Forklift or Mobil Crane while ensuring efficiency and safety to support our paint and shipping department.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES For Fork Lift-Mobil Crane OperatorTransport raw materials and tank fabrications to & from production workstations
Prep tanks for paint
Unload Steel Raw Materials and Load Tanks
Operate lift equipment smoothly, carefully, skillfully, and safely
Comply with company policies and guidelines
Assist in keeping a safe environment
Other duties as assigned
EducationRequires high school diploma or GED equivalency; simple reading and arithmetic such as addition and subtraction of whole numbers and reading decimals; work with simple charts, drawings, and measuring equipment. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations for forklift, cranes, and material handling equipment.
Work ExperienceAt least three years of successful continuous employment in a commercial or industrial setting. Must have equipment operating experience.
Physical RequirementsModerate physical effort; requires standing on for entire shift; may lift up to 60 lbs. throughout the day; good eye and hand co-ordination; good visual acuity in order to perform most task; must be able to climb, stoop, and bend to get up and down from forklift truck and perform various outside activities throughout yard.
Salary: $16 - $17 per hour
