Job Description:
Drafters/Designers work in an engineering environment to develop detailed design documentation for manufacturing. Create and document designs according to engineering and/or customer specifications. Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production assembly personnel to implement new designs and design changes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or trade school education. Associate’s Degree preferred.
Mechanical aptitude, and significant math skills.
Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize, strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to proofread documents, mechanical drawings, and Bills of Material.
Experience in the use of 3D CAD software, familiarity with SolidWorks and PDM a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
