We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to create, maintain, support, and improve complex technology operations for compliance and legal custom technology application platforms. You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value.

• Administration, Development and Support of complex technology systems.
• Be able to work independently on large technology projects and programs with moderate complexity.
• Evaluating complex user requests and clarifying and communicating the objectives in a clear and concise manner.
• Be able to look for improvements to programs, processes, and services.
• Conducting and preparing technology solutions for new and existing applications and products.
• Leading projects with moderate complexity and scope.
• Making a positive influence on your team members and peers.
• Providing technical expertise.

What you have
Required

• 18 months of current experience gained with Schwab technology domain as a current contractor or employee is a must have
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands on experience gained through 5 years in a Systems engineering and Software development role.
• Systems Engineering and Systems Administration experience, Windows/ Linux.
• Server Configurations, Software Installs, Software Configs, System Upgrades, Security, Monitoring.
• Experience working with Vendor products and Vendor support.
• Familiarity with Java and/or Python with moderate to mild experience.
• Experience RDBMS Design & Development, MS-SQL, Oracle, T-SQL, PL-SQL.
• Windows PowerShell or Unix equivalent.

Preferred

• Experience with SSIS is a big plus.
• Cloud technologies (GCP) is a plus.
• Experience working in and using Agile methodologies.
• The ability to work independently and to effectively interact and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
• Be able to guide and mentor new and/or junior team members if the need be.
• The ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies.
• Strong customer focus with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment.
