Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Oregon (or reciprocal state) Manufacturing Plant Journeyman license or higher, or the ability to obtain a license prior to date of hire.
- Must have an excellent work and safety record.
- Must be able to work at heights, and in hot/dusty environments.
- Must be able to work various shifts including days, swing and/or graveyard with required daily or weekly overtime as needed.
- Must be able to comprehend and enter detailed work orders into our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Must have experience in Field Prep which consists shop math, basic measuring tools, print reading, and conduit bending.
- Must have experience using electrical testing equipment such as oscilloscope, meters, and meggers.
- Must have experience identifying and controlling failed components such as switches, relays, frequency drives, motor starters.
- Knowledge in Allen Bradly PLC controls
- PLC programming skills
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Familiar with PLC 5, ControlLogix, Flex Logix, and/or MicroLogix
- Familiar with plywood and/or veneer plant machinery and equipment.
