QuickChek is Hiring a Project Manager Near Whitehouse, NJ

As a Project Manager in the Information Technology department at QuickChek, your primary responsibility will be to plan, manage, and drive the end-to-end lifecycle of IT departmental projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage several separate projects depending on size. Can range from small, single-system upgrades to multi-system integrations impacting multiple functional areas.
  • Build out department level Project Management processes and templates.
  • Define status reporting cadences.
  • Set up and maintain shared project folders and templates.
  • Develop and maintain project plans.
  • Control the project scope and budget.
  • Monitor and report project status.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources required across projects and manage relationships with and expectations among Project Sponsors, Project Leads, and Project Teams.
  • Anticipate risks and challenges related to assigned initiatives and keep Project Sponsors and Project Leads informed of these risks and challenges.

Additionally the PM will be responsible for the following in each project:

  • Project Charter
  • Project scope document
  • Issues and Risk matrix
  • Status report/dashboard
  • All other project documents/templates (Microsoft DevOps via user stories)
  • Test templates

Requirements include the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required, as well as four years of relevant experience
  • PMP Certification is strongly preferred
  • Intermediate software skills in the following: Sensei Beacon PPM, MS Project/Project Web App, SharePoint, MS Teams, Smartsheet, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet/Excel, Word
