Local Daily Media is Hiring a Client Services Associate Near Williamsburg, VA
Job Title: Client Services Associate
Position located in: Williamsburg, VA
We are the new newspaper. Local Daily Media delivers hyperlocal news without bias or opinion that has come to define traditional newspapers. We tell the stories of our clients through sponsored articles, making them more human and compelling as businesses. Serving 2 communities across Virginia and North Carolina, we are looking for a dedicated, super organized, detail-oriented Client Services Associate to support our sales teams and provide excellent customer service to our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sales Order entry into billing and traffic system; email client order confirmations
- Client communication and follow-up (phone and email)
- Reconcile radio commercial logs
- Deposit and record daily check/credit card payments
- Publish branded content stories through Wordpress and promote through Facebook
- Coordinate and execute Facebook ticket giveaways
- General office tasks including but not limited to answering phones, greeting guests, sorting and scanning mail, and ordering supplies.
- Other duties as assigned to contribute to a collaborative and productive team environment
Qualities & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year Customer Service/Inside Sales experience required
- Understanding of the correlation between sales growth and outstanding customer service
- A desire to meet local business owners in our community
- Must have a strong attention to detail and personal accountability to complete daily/ weekly/ monthly tasks
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment with limited supervision
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft Applications and the ability to learn new software programs (Wedel, Canva, Wordpress, Facebook Business Manager, MailChimp)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
