JOB TITLE Busser

Job Posting:

The Original Pancake House is seeking candidates for the position of Busser that are passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience at its xxxxxxx, NY location. This position will maintain the cleanliness of the dining room. Our Bussers work as part of our front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service.

Compensation:

• $13.50 per hour plus indirect tips
• 5 day work week; up to 40 hours
• Anniversary Pay Program

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support servers and hosts by cleaning and preparing tables for customer use
• Maintain dining room supply levels
• Transport dirty dishes, etc. to dishwash area

Management Responsibilities:

• None

Administrative Responsibilities:

• None

Operational Responsibilities:

• Prepare dining room for customers by cleaning and setting the table area, walkways and restrooms
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
• Maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean
• Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenish utensils; be alert to patron spills or other special needs
• Support servers and hosts by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners, and bus stations
• Close dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables from the facility

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Authorization to work in the United States

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to work a 10-hour shift
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 8 hours continuously
• Ability to speak, hear, and see
