Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making on commercial activities
- Develop financial models for pricing and profitability analysis to evaluate the financial performance of commercial projects
- Collaborate with commercial teams to drive profitability and growth
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
- Be a trusted and engaged collaborative business partner to the organization to enable transparency, growth, profitability, and sound business decisions
- 10 years of experience in commercial finance or related roles, preferably in the tech or service industry
- Detail orientated with superior analytical and problem solving abilities
- Strategic thinker with ability to grasp the tactical details
- Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) at all levels of the organization
- Proven business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate cross functionally
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced start-up type environment with minimal supervision
- Advanced excel proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Hybrid position with 2-3 days expected in local office
