Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our property grounds and hotel rooms. We need to maintain a good standard to ensure quality guest experience. Must have base knowledge and confidence for repairs and plumbing.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues with HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing.

- Handle as much in-house as possible, source bids on outside contracted jobs
- Supervise contractors for larger maintenance projects, learn and understand the systems at the hotel... Backflows, fire sprinklers, water heaters etc.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders

Skills:

- Proficiency in facilities maintenance

- Basic plumbing knowledge

- Basic drywall knowledge

- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on hands/knees at times
- Ability to supervise maintenance tasks effectively
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with staff and vendors
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Capable of maintaining, repairing, and fabricating parts
