Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate costing of products, and providing insights to improve cost efficiency.
Duties
- Conduct cost analysis for manufacturing processes
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to product costs
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate costing records
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost-saving opportunities
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage for cost tracking and reporting
- Interpret financial reports to identify variances and trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience in cost accounting or related field preferred
- Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation and cash flow analysis
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes
- Experience with public accounting practices is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
