Staffing Coordinator

We are seeking motivated and reliable shift coordinators for our client site in Winchester, VA! We provide benefits upon hire.

**If you are looking to grow a career in HR without the education background this is a good starting point. No experience necessary but preferred customer service, call center, servers, and bartenders who enjoy helping others. **

Our ideal staffing coordinator is motivated and has a passion for people!

Ultimately, the responsibilities are to ensure our company attracts, hires, and

retains the best employees while growing strong client relationships.

Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with the client, internal employees, and temporary workforce.
  • Keeps up to date on safety information provided by client and relays information during orientations to the temporary workforce.
  • Performs a variety of administrative tasks that support the overall mission of quality service and performance. Including but not limited to documenting safety issues, tracking hours, keeping timesheets, and using computer/ technical skills to deliver messages promptly to staff.
  • Obtain detailed assignment information from client and utilize it to set out temporary workforce expectations.
  • Keep up to date on job duties for each department and fulfil the need with appropriate temporary employee skill sets.
  • Schedule check-in and provide pre-assignment orientation to all temporary employees. Including giving directions on how to clock in and out and check their hours (if needed).
  • Monitor temporary employee attendance and performance and communicate concerns to Management.
  • Temporary workforce concerns, infractions, or behavioral issues should be communicated to Management.
  • Safety concerns should be immediately communicated to the assigned Safety regulators.
  • Implement company award programs to recognize the good performance of the temporary workforce.
  • Produce requested information such as attendance reports, payroll timecards, and any other requested information to Management.

Must-Have:

HSD or GED (Associate or Bachelors preferred).

Be able to multi-task and be self-motivated.

Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred.

Must enjoy working as a team and in a high-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong decision-making skills

Microsoft Office Experience (minimum 2 years)

Proven work experience working in a high-paced environment

(banker/teller, server/bartender, receptionist…etc. welcomed).

Solid ability to read people’s behavior.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
