Shipping Coordinator

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for handling, overseeing and coordinating the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all logistics operations.

Duties:

- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 to track inventory and shipments
- Operate equipment including pallet jacks, and other tools as needed
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and orders
- Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize shipments based on urgency and demand
- Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities, weights, and measurements
- Implement best practices for packaging, labeling, and handling of goods
- Monitor and update the MRP system to reflect inventory movements accurately

Experience:

- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred

-Experience with SPS Commerce
- Familiarity with e-commerce shipping processes is a plus
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems like AS400
- Knowledge of stock management principles and practices
- Strong understanding of shipping receiving procedures
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and calculations

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
