Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Arborist at Bear Claw Land Services located in Winter Park, CO. The Arborist will be responsible for performing tree removal, operating specialized forestry equipment, tree identification, implementing forestry best practices, and maintaining the health and safety of trees on our clients' properties, and reducing fuels on our client's properties. Daily tasks include felling trees, feeding chippers, operating skid steers & excavators, pruning, tree removal,tree health assessment, and providing recommendations for tree care and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of forestry and arboriculture
  • Proficient with a chainsaw
  • ISA Certified Arborist or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Heavy equipment experience
  • Experience in tree identification and tree care practices
  • Ability to safely operate tree care equipment
  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • CDL is a plus
  • Experience in land clearing and fire mitigatio
