Responsibilities
- Contribute to plan audit objectives and determine an audit strategy that appropriately addresses risk
- Establish the expectations of the audit team and the value of client services to be delivered
- Manage multiple audit engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-based environment
- Participate in the performance of audit procedures that impact complex or specialized issues facing a client
- Identify accounting and audit risks using US GAAP, IFRS, US GAAS, IAS, and PCAOB auditing standards
- Oversee all engagement fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results
- Successfully manage the engagement team against the budget and alter the budget if required
- Handle client engagement administrative tasks and ensure profitability targets are met
- Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues to engagement partner as they arise
- Develop other audit staff through knowledge sharing, on-site training, and performance feedback
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
- 8 years of audit experience
- Experience with Manufacturing & Distribution clients
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical, organized, and able to manage projects
- CPA required
- Advanced Excel skills
