Industrial Maintenance Technician (Rotating 12 Hour Shift, Nights, 6p-6a)
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility in Woodridge, IL, 60517. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of industrial equipment, including Blow Molding Machines, Conveyor Systems, Industrial Robots, Palletizers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and more.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment such as Blow Molding Machines, Conveyor Systems, and Palletizers
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with industrial equipment
- Diagnose and resolve problems with Industrial Automation Equipment
- Troubleshoot and Repair High Speed Filling and Packaging Equipment.
- Support all Production needs as necessary including operating equipment, relieving breaks and lunches, and leading and assisting on line changeovers.
- Repair and maintain mechanical equipment such as fillers, case packers, conveyor systems, palletizers, water purification/filtration systems and other production equipment.
- Continuous improvement in speed and accuracy of product changeovers and preventative maintenance plans.
- Installation and troubleshooting of production equipment.
- Follows all company policies and work rules including, but not limited to, housekeeping, GMP, PPE’s, SAP PM module, and quality systems.
- Participates in the development and implementation of line improvements.
- Other Duties as Required
Qualifications
- Experience working with Blow Molding Machines, Conveyor Systems, Industrial Robots, Palletizers, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Strong Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
- Proficient in Mechanical Troubleshooting
- Ability to troubleshoot Industrial Automation Equipment
- Knowledge of PLC Troubleshooting Skills
