Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess relevant experience in veterinary care, pet grooming, and animal handling. Responsibilities: - Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels and common areas - Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the veterinary staff - Assist with administering medications as directed by veterinarians - Handle dogs with various temperaments and behaviors in a safe and compassionate manner - Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service - Assist with bathing, grooming, and basic training of animals Experience: - Previous experience in a veterinary setting or animal care environment is preferred - Knowledge of animal behavior, handling, and basic medical care - Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary - Experience working in a kennel or similar facility is a plus - Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Join our team as a Kennel Technician to make a difference in the lives of animals every day.
