Construction Controller- Woodstock, GA

Our client specializes in Multifamily Construction/Renovation and has experienced significant growth. Operating in four states with plans for further expansion, they are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join their dynamic team. This position is in office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to reassess and refine accounting processes and controls to support the company's growth and strategic objectives.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and forecasting, updating cash flow projections weekly (10 weeks out). Ensure a thorough understanding of cash flow and cash needs before the start of each project.
• Job Forecasting: Update job forecasting on a weekly or monthly basis to ensure accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
• Banking and Treasury: Maintain and manage banking relationships, ensuring optimal treasury operations.
• Budgeting: Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial health.
• Insurance Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company insurance requirements.
• Financial Reporting and Tax Preparation: Lead financial reporting efforts and manage tax preparation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Preferred: Experience in the construction industry, particularly multifamily construction/renovation
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, cash flow management, and financial forecasting
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
